Therapeutic Services
Always chase your dreams instead of running from you fears.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy services are delivered via secure telehealth platform and are scheduled in 50-minute clinical sessions. Prior to the initiation of services, clients must complete a comprehensive intake process, which includes standardized assessments and a thorough psychosocial history to inform diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical recommendations. In accordance with state regulations and ethical standards of practice, a signed Mandatory Disclosure Statement and all required consent forms must be completed and received before any therapeutic services can be provided.

Kaleidoscope Therapy Services offers comprehensive mental health treatment for seniors, adults, children and adolescents with an overarching emphasis on promoting wellness, emotional balance, and long-term resilience. Areas of clinical specialization include, but are not limited to, child abuse, neglect, trauma, and grief and loss.

Mental Health Assessments
Kaleidoscope Therapy Services, LLC provides comprehensive mental health assessments designed to evaluate psychological functioning, identify clinical concerns, and inform diagnostic clarification and treatment planning. Each assessment includes a thorough psychosocial history, administration of standardized and/or evidence-based assessment instruments, clinical interpretation of results, and diagnostic formulation when clinically indicated.

The resulting written report offers integrated clinical impressions and recommendations intended to assist agencies, professionals, individuals, and families in understanding the nature, severity, and functional impact of mental health conditions, as well as the barriers and challenges affecting daily functioning. Recommendations emphasize a clinically informed, least-restrictive, and developmentally appropriate approach to intervention, supporting the principle of providing the right service at the right time. Consideration is given to both intensive and lower-level interventions that may effectively address identified needs.

Mental health assessments typically require a minimum of two clinical meetings:
-
A clinical interview and information-gathering session, including completion of psychosocial history and administration of assessment measures (e.g., rating scales, inventories, screening tools).
-
A feedback session during which results are reviewed with the individual and a comprehensive written report is provided and explained.

Parent-Child Assessments
Parent-Child Assessments are conducted when involved professionals require a clinically informed evaluation of the quality of the parent-child relationship, including patterns of bonding, attachment, relational functioning, and parenting style. These assessments are designed to systematically observe and analyze interactions between the parent and child across structured and unstructured contexts in order to assess relational strengths, areas of concern, and the overall capacity for safe, attuned, and developmentally appropriate caregiving.
Parent-Child Assessments may provide the following to parents, caregivers, and professionals:

• Clearly defined, actionable clinical recommendations to support and enhance bonding and attachment when indicated.
• Specific, measurable, and clinically grounded goals to guide the development, maintenance, or strengthening of the parent-child relationship.
• Clinical impressions regarding the parent’s and child’s relational capacities, emotional availability, and resilience in the context of stress, adversity, and/or traumatic experiences.
• Treatment planning recommendations identifying appropriate levels of intervention and support.

Due to the complexity and relational nature of this assessment, a minimum number of therapeutic sessions is required to allow for adequate observation of interactions over time and to support the formation of reliable clinical impressions. The number of sessions is determined based on referral questions, presenting concerns, and clinical judgment.
